    Victoria Rodriguez is a mezzo-soprano from El Paso, Texas. She began her musical studies at the El Paso Conservatory of Music, and went on to pursue her B.M. in Voice Performance at the University of North Texas. She then completed her M.M. at New York University.  During her time in NYC Victoria has sung the roles of Schwertleite in a concert version of Die Walküre, and Wellgunde in a concert reduction of Das Rheingold, and has recently worked with Brooklyn Opera Institute singing the roles of Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte. This last December she covered the title role of Amahl for Maryland Lyric Opera’s production of Amahl and the Night Visitors and this year in April, Victoria recently premiered Deone Nielson Price’s orchestral version of her song cycle To the Children of War with the Metro Chamber Orchestra. Victoria is delighted to have been given the opportunity to work with dell’Arte Opera Ensemble.
