Lauren Glaves

Soprano Lauren Glaves graduated from Williams College, where she was a recipient of the Alice Oakes Dunn scholarship and performed with the Opera Studio in scenes as Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro. Her recent opera engagements include Adina in The Elixir of Love and Adele in Die Fledermaus with Hudson Lyric Opera, and the Taumännchen and Sandmännchen in Hänsel und Gretel with New York Opera Forum. Other roles in her repertoire include Nanetta (Falstaff) and Blondchen (Die Entführung aus dem Serail). She recently performed Strauss’ Mädchenblumen cycle with New York Big Apple Music Festival at Queens College’s Le Frak Hall. She holds bachelor’s degrees in both Music and Art History from Williams College, and studied at the Bel Canto Institute in Florence, Italy.
