Will Esch

Making the transition from choral music to the opera world, Will Esch recently relocated to New York to pursue this new career. Prior to his move, Esch played TRIBUNE in The Coronation of Poppea while studying at St. Olaf College, and after graduating sang SPARAFUCILE in Really Spicy Opera’s production of Rigoletto. Esch made his New York debut as SARASTRO in New York Lyric Opera Theater’s (NYLOT) Die Zauberflöte, and with SingThrough Central he sang his second SPARAFUCILE. This summer Esch will be singing SILVANO in La Calisto, as well as covering the roles of HARAŠTA and FARÁŘ in Příhody lišky Bystroušky with dell’Arte Opera Ensemble.
