Tyler Dobies

Tyler Dobies is a student in the Master of Music (Vocal Performance, Music Theatre) program at NYU Steinhardt. He received his BFA in Acting/Directing at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. NYU: Die Zauberflöte (Monostatos), L’enfant et les sortilèges (Le chat), and Closer Than Ever. Regional: Inside Out and Back Again (Book-It Repertory Theatre), Bridges of Madison County (Showtunes Theatre Company), Nihonjin Face (Broadway Center for the Performing Arts), Peter and the Starcatcher (ArtsWest Playhouse), Pajama Game (Centerstage Theatre). Tyler is also an alumnus of Intiman Theatre’s Emerging Artist Program, where he wrote and performed a one-person show about his experience as a queer, biracial person of color. This is his dell’Arte Opera Ensemble debut.
