    Merav Eldan (Alcina) mezzo-soprano, originally from Israel, has collaborated with several composers and brought to life pieces such as In the Garden – A Homeless Woman’s Monodrama for Voice and Brass Quintet by O. Zehavi, Away from Me – Transgender Song Cycle by B. Ben-Moshe with text by I. Faran and L. Arnon, The Stone by Z. Whitney, Protest – Song Cycle for Mezzo-Soprano and Orchestra by O. Zehavi. She also premiered the alto role in Voice of the Lake by M. Brouwer and in Rashby’s Passion by J. Bardanashvili. Merav performed the role of Hermia in Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel, Neris in Medea, Dorabella in Così fan Tutte, Damon in Acis and Galatea, Componist in Ariadne auf Naxos and La zia Principessa in Suor Angelica. She recently performed E. Milch- Sheriff’s Waves for Mezzo-Soprano and Orchestra at the Israeli Music Festival. She is an Alumni of Cleveland Institute of Music.
