Melyn Saenz

Melyn Saenz (Petit Allan and Princess Ursula cover and Nun in Princess Maleine) most recently performed the role of Pamina in Die Zauberflöte at New York University, where she earned a master of music in vocal performance in 2019. She has also covered the role of Dew Fairy in Hänsel und Gretel and performed in an arias and ensembles concert at Carnegie Hall with Manhattan Opera Studio. The Texas native received a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from The University of Tulsa, where she sang with Tulsa Oratorio Chorus and Tulsa Symphony. She attended the Cornish American Song Institute in England where she studied and performed art song. Her other roles include Bat and Shepherdess in L’enfant et les sortilèges, 1st Spirit in Die Zauberflöte, Anne Trulove in a condensed version of The Rake’s Progress, and Mae in Street Scene.
