    Marques Hollie is a New York City-based jewsician, theater artist, and tenor. Since making his professional debut in Giuseppe Verdi’s Aïda, he has performed more than 20 roles in the operatic canon. Performance highlights from previous seasons include singing the role of Scott in a concert reading of Rory Michelle Sullivan’s Rising in Love, singing in two New York Fashion Week runway shows, and singing the role of Marcel Duchamp in Felix Jarrar and Bea Goodwin’s Tabula Rasa; he will also premiere the role of Gnat in Jarrar’s Mother Goose. Marques has a vested interest in Jewish intersectionality and will premiere an excerpt of his one man show, Go Down, Moshe, a performative retelling of the exodus from Egypt using the musical tradition of Negro spirituals and the narratives of enslaved people, in April at the 14th Street Y.
