Appearing this season with dell'Arte as Countess in Vignettes from Vienna.
Maria Servodidio, soprano, is pursuing her Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy at the Peabody Conservatory in the studio of soprano Ah Young Hong. During the dell’Arte Opera Ensemble 2018 season, Maria will perform the role of Countess Almaviva in the scenes production of Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and will appear in the ensemble of Mozart’s Don Giovanni. Her previous roles include Meg March in Adamo’s Little Women, a Street Singer in Bernstein’s Mass, Prince Orlofsky in J. Strauss’ The Bat, the title role in a scenes performance of Puccini’s Suor Angelica, and Girl 1 in Errollyn Wallen’s contemporary opera ANON. She will reprise the role of a Street Singer in Peabody Conservatory’s 2018 production of Bernstein’s Mass, conducted by Marin Alsop. Maria received a Bachelor of Music from Vanderbilt University under the tutelage of soprano Amy Jarman.http://www.mariaservodidio.com/
