Lauren Rathbun

    Lauren Rathbun is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah. She is a recent graduate of the University of Utah with an HBFA in Musical Theatre, and wrote a published thesis titled: Beyond Classical, Mixing in the Belt: An Exploration of Musical Theatre Singing. Since moving to New York, she has performed with New York Lyric Opera, West Side Opera Society, La Dolce Opera, The Adelphi Orchestra, and at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, National Opera Center, Don’t Tell Mama NYC, and the historic Duplex NYC. She has sung both Nerone and Ottavia in L’incoronazione di Poppea, Hansel in Hansel and Gretel, Flora in La Traviata, Mointress in Suor Angelica, 2nd Lady in The Magic Flute, and Lucy Brown in The Threepenny Opera.
