    Kofi Hayford, bass is excited to make his debut with dell’Arte Opera Ensemble as L’hotelier in Manon and Dottor Grenvil in La Traviata. Kofi recently made his Lincoln Center debut as Sarastro in The Magic Flute and his Carnegie Hall debut in Weill Recital Hall. Kofi sang the inaugural performance of the Greek Opera Olympic Flame singing the roles of Prometheus and Hyllos at Lincoln Center. Notable solo engagements include: The Monk and The Grand Inquisitor in Verdi’s Don Carlo; Count Rodolfo in Bellini’s La Sonnambula; Raimondo in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor; Baltassare in Donizetti’s La Favorita; Count Monterone and Sparafucile from Verdi’s Rigoletto; Angelotti, Sacristan and the Jailer in Puccini’s Tosca; and the Doctor and Baron Douphol in La Traviata(in concert). In concert he has been the bass soloist in Mozart’s “Requiem” and Rossini’s Stabat Mater. A Songfest Young Artist, Kofi his Bachelor’s in Vocal Performance from University at Buffalo. Kofi has appeared with a wide range of organizations including the Buffalo Philharmonic, Chelsea Opera, Vocal Productions NYC, Central Florida Lyric Opera, Buffalo Opera Unlimited, Amore Opera, MORE Opera, NY Lyric Opera Theatre, Erie Opera Theatre, West Side Opera Society and New York Opera Theatre.
