Jeffrey Mandelbaum

    Jeffrey Mandelbaum made his debut at the Metropolitan Opera in The Enchanted Island, singing a series of performances alongside Joyce DiDonato and Plácido Domingo, led by William Christie. He returned for Ades’ The Tempest, and for the revival of The Enchanted Island. He made a double Alice Tully Hall debut, singing Magnificat with the American Classical Orchestra, as well as Weinachts Oratorium with the Riverside Choral Society. Highlights include singing Agrippina with Virginia Opera, Giulio Cesare with Opera Theater of Connecticut, and One World Symphony, Mitridate with LOTNY, Poppea with Opera Omnia, and dell’Arte Opera Ensemble, Cyrano de Bergerac with Opera Pacific, and Quarry with SpoletoFestival USA. He was engaged by New York City Opera for Flavio, Ulisse, and Hansel and Gretel. He is a winner of the 2003 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, New York Districts, attended Oberlin and Mannes, and studies vocal technique and artistry with Linda Monssen.
