    Francesca Federico (Juana) made her professional European debut with Wexford Festival Opera, singing Alice Ford in Falstaff. She helped premiere Jillian Flexner’s Self Defined Circuits as Voice 5 with Fresh Squeezed Opera. She appeared in concert with the Children’s Philharmonic of New Jersey and sang in their mainstage production of Die Zauberflöte as Pamina. She was finalist in the Vermont Vocal competition. She performed at the Rose Theater at Lincoln Center with the Teatro Nuovo bel canto festival under the baton of Maestro Will Crutchfield, singing in La gazza ladra, and La Straniera. With Bronx Opera, Francesca performed Anna Gomez in The Consul. She is recipient of the 2018 opera grant from the Anna Sosenko Assist Trust, and finalist for a Career Bridges grant. Francesca originated the role of Naftalina in the world premiere of Knot an Opera! with Fresh Squeezed Opera. She also appeared in the world premiere of Brad Balliett’s multidisciplinary opera The Universal Drum, and was named Artist Fellow with the Art Song Preservation Society Festival. Other roles include Donna Anna in Don Giovanni and Pamina in Die Zauberflöte with the German Vocal Arts Institute. Ms. Federico received a Masters in Voice at the Mannes School of Music, and currently studies with Bonnie Hamilton.
