Eric Lindsey (Don Giovanni and Leporello in Don Giovanni) has sung under the direction of conductors Victor DeRenzi, Marcello Cormio, Brent McMunn, Dr. Raymond Harvey, Ward Holmquist, Pacien Mazzagatti, and Jorge Parodi.  During 2018, Mr. Lindsey debuted the role of Prince Yamadori for Teatro Lirico d’Europa’s Madama Butterfly, and is currently in collaboration with composers Jeffrey Leiser and Andres Soto for a semi-premiere of Far Travelers, an opera about Viking settlers.  He will sing King Marke in a concert version of Tristan und Isolde in October for NY Opera Collaborative.  He will make his operatic debut with Imperial Symphony Orchestra as Sarastro in The Magic Flute in January of 2019.  Engagements during the 2017-2018 season included a return to Opera North to sing the roles of Calchas in Offenbach’s La Belle Helene and Bonze in Madama Butterfly, Basilo in Il barbiere di Siviglia for Opera in Williamsburg, VA and his debut as a featured soloist for ISO’s Holiday Spectacular.  Other favorite roles include Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro with Opera in Williamsburg.  He also made his debut with Shreveport Opera as Benoit/Alcindoro in La Bohème, Sacristan in TOSCA, with Opera North,  Don Alfosno in Così fan tutte, with Sarasota Opera, Rucker Lattimore (filling in for the illustrious Samuel Ramey) in Wichita State University’s production of Carlisle Floyd’s Cold Sassy Tree, Sciarrone in Tosca, and Truffaldino in Ariadne On Naxos.  He received his Associate of Fine Arts from Young Harris College, his Bachelor of Music from Kennesaw State University and his Master of Music from the University of Houston. His has trained with Barbara Zellner, Dr. Edwin “Sandy” Calloway, Jana Young, Joseph Evans, and Andrea DelGiudice.
