    Christina Esser (Giovanna Seymour in Anna Bolena) Recent roles include Hermia in A Midsummer Nights Dream with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. She participated in a workshop reading of Juana and Mrs. Krawcyck in Lost Childhood with Opera UCLA. She sang Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro as well as The Monitress in Suor Angelica with Repertory Opera Company. Other roles include  Dardano in AmadigiVirtù and Poppea in L’incoronazione di Poppea , and The Third Lady in Die Zauberflöte. Additionally, she has performed scenes from Così fan tutte, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Hansel and Gretel Carmen  (Carmen)and The Mikado (Pitti Sing).  In 2020, Ms. Esser was selected to compete in the Hennings-Fischer Burbank Philharmonic Young Artist Competition. She was a featured young artist with the Palm Springs Opera Guild, and will return as a guest teaching artist in “Opera in the Schools”. She has been a featured soloist with numerous choral works. Christina received a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCSB, currently pursuing a Masters of Music in Vocal Arts at the University of California Los Angeles, studying with Vladimir Chernov, Peter Kazaras, and James Darrah.
