    Brian Alvarado, New York-based baritone, has been seen as Leporello in Lighthouse Opera Company’s Don Giovanni, as Tsarevich Afron in New Opera NYC’s Zolotoy petushok (The Golden Cockerel), with Utopia Opera as the Ludwig cover in their run of The Grand Duke, and as Jacob and Washington Dandy #4 in their performances of The Ballad of Baby Doe, as Corporal Nym and the Master Page cover in Bronx Opera’s 50th Anniversary production of Vaughan-Williams’ rarely performed Sir John in Love, additionally covering Melisso in OperaRox Productions’ rendition of Alcina, and reading the role of Jack Parkham in their workshop of Price Walden’s The Contract Player. He also joined New Amsterdam Opera’s chorus for their concert performance of La forza del destino, additionally covering Alcade and Chirurgo. He will soon portray the Ghost of Vergil in Garden State Opera’s production of Rachmaninoff’s Francesca da Rimini.
