Anna Woiwood

Anna Woiwood (La Condesa in Juana) portrayed Victoria Woodhull in Victoria Bond’s Mrs. President with dell’Arte Opera Ensemble’s scenes concert while covering the role of Queen Godelive and singing First Nun in the world premiere of, Princess Maleine.  Ms. Woiwood has performed the Governess in Turn of the Screw, Lucrezia in Lucrezia Borgia, the title roles in Norma and Susannah, Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Donna Anna and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Fiordiligi in Cosi fan Tutte, Magda in La Rondine, Liu in Turandot and Mimi in La Boheme. She has appeared with the New York Dramatic Voice Festival; Opera Theatre of the Rockies; Geneva Light Opera; the Midwest Institute of Opera; and Opera Classica Europa. Ms. Woiwood was New York’s regional 3rd place winner in Classical Singer’s 2019 Vocal Competition and was a New York Lyric Competition 2019 finalist. In Colorado, she recieved the Pikes Peak Opera League Career Grant and Allied Arts Grants and was afinalist in the Southard and Rocky Mountain competitions.  Anna holds a degree in Opera from the Mannes School of Music; a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Southeast Missouri State University. Ms. Woiwood studies with Beth Roberts.
