Alonso Jordan Lopez

Alonso Jordán López is a tenor from Arizona, who relocated to NYC in 2019.  In addition to being a semi-finalist in the Mary Trueman Art Song Vocal Competition, he also recently joined the roster of the dell’Arte Opera Ensemble in NYC where he will sing Don Carlos in “Juana” by Carla Lucero. Over the last five years he has sought out growth opportunities in young artist programs throughout the US. A highlight of this time was at the Miami Summer Music Festival where he played Leon in “Ghosts of Versailles”. He received a positive review for his “striking performance” in the South Florida Classical Review. Alonso holds a bachelor and master of music in vocal performance, and a second master of arts in nonprofit leadership.
